The Observation
A Gap Nobody Was Filling
Walk into any cosmetics shop in Bangladesh and you face the same choice: imported brands priced out of reach for most, or local brands that never quite felt premium. There was nothing in between — nothing that felt made for us.
Mohiuddin Noor Rakib saw this every day. The women around him — sisters, friends, neighbours — were either spending far too much on foreign labels or settling for less. He knew this gap needed to close.
Eid 2024
The Idea Takes Shape
It was Eid 2024 when the dream became a plan. Two brothers sat down together and asked a simple question: why can't we build something truly luxurious, right here, for our own people?
Yeasin Noor Akib — the planner, the researcher, the one who stays up thinking — took that question and turned it into a mission. Together, the brothers decided to build Bangladesh's first truly luxury cosmetics brand, from the ground up.
The name came naturally: YEAMINÕ — woven from their own names. YEasin, Akib, Mohiuddin, I, NOor. A family name, a brand name. One and the same.
The Wait
Doing It Right, Not Fast
Cosmetics are not like other products. Nobody trusts a new brand until they are absolutely certain of what's inside. Yeasin understood this from day one.
So they waited. They researched. They learned everything — formulas, ingredients, pigments, wear times, what makes a matte finish stay soft instead of dry. They weren't looking for any manufacturer. They were looking for the best one.
Months passed. Samples were rejected. Standards were held. Because if YEAMINÕ was going to carry a family's name, it had to deserve it.
Why Lipstick

Every girl who discovers a new beauty brand reaches for the lipstick first. It's the most personal, the most expressive, the most shared. It's the product that travels from bag to bag, gets spotted across a room, gets asked about at weddings.
Starting with lipstick wasn't just a business decision — it was the only right way to introduce YEAMINÕ to Bangladesh. And so the Velvet Matte collection was born: shades crafted specifically for Bangladeshi skin tones, in a formula that stays without drying, in packaging that feels like a gift every time you open it.
